Internet Cafe!

My second born, Levi, is famous! His potty training escapades (which he STILL struggles with) are today's inspiration on Internet Cafe! Come on over and check it out! I promise it's a quick read and you will be blessed. The Internet Cafe is an amazing ministry, and they are always looking for Guest Baristas!

Also, please pray for Levi. He does not want to do his business in the potty -- he's satisfied with his diaper, thank you very much!

Click to read the story! Internet Cafe.

P.S. The photo above is proof that I'll tempt him with anything to go in the potty. I used ice cream, Smarties, lollipops and marshmallows; but, nope, he still wouldn't go! Maybe if I tempt him with a brand new car. . . .

I read Chrissy's comment @ the IC and I too am living this post. I always had favor in the workplace and now day 300 and 70 something and no offers or prospects in sight. I'm like, " Hey God, what's up?" Over one year of unemployment? I don't see the light but I know there is one. Sometimes I feel unworthy about the praise I get on my blog because if people only knew how I white knuckle it everyday, the'd say where is the evidence of God? The lender, being above, blessed and highly favored. If only...

The IC put me in queue for early 2010 to be a possible barista. Thanks for suggesting it to me weeks ago. Hopefully I can bless their readers and yours @ ST with an inspirational devotional.

Enjoyed your article! I have a little one who was also afraid of the potty. He would sob and try to run away if the potty was mentioned. And you can forget flushing...he was terrified. But not long after he turned 3, I guess he felt like he needed to grow up because all of a sudden, he was willing to try. We went from dreading potty training to jumping in full force. I can't claim it happened in a day, but it did go quickly and smoothly because it was in him (and God's!) timing. :-)

I don't know about tempting him to use the potty...but that picture would probably do the trick to get him to do anything in about 10 or 12 years...LOL....

PS I found (believe it or not!) stickers and star charts work wonders, if u had told me this i would never have believed, but it works :)

HAHA! Oh... I don't miss those days! I truly believed that my daughter would be attending kindergarten in diapers! I believe the potty chair in front of the tv finally did the trick for us!
God be with you on this journey...you're gonna need it! ;)
